Cothay Gardens laid out in the
1920's, have been completely re-designed and replanted within the
original framework of yew hedges. On either side of a 200yd walk are
'rooms', each of which are small gardens in themselves. A white Garden,
scarlet and purple garden, herbaceous borders, a scree bed, and bog
garden are but a few of the delights to be found in this magical place.

centuries it has remained virtually untouched since it was built
Cothay is said tobe the finest example of a small classic
medieval manor house remaining in the kingdom today.
