East Lambrook Manor

Taste of the West Gold Award 2003

This internationally famous Grade I Listed 'English Cottage Garden' was designed by the late gardening icon, Margery Fish. Her wonderfully informal style has dramatically influenced the gardening of the 21st century and her magical creation at East Lambrook Manor also houses a display of the National Collection of Geraniums. The 17th century Malthouse has homemade lunches, teas, art gallery and specialist plant sales.

Continuing the work of
Margery Fish

As with any garden, there is
a constant need for restoration, repair and replacement, and
with a 'cottage-style' garden such as Margery Fish's, the need is even greater. The garden still houses a
remarkable collection of plants many of which Mrs Fish saved from virtual extinction as well as an extensive collection of geraniums.
Thanks to Mr Norton, The National Collection of Geraniums also remains here in the gardens.
